Hey friends! Buckle up, because I’ve got a love story that’s straight out of a fairy tale, with a dash of serendipity and Colorado magic. It’s about Meghan and Cameron, our latest Britni Girard Photography (BGP) couple, whose journey to the altar is as heartwarming as it gets.

Cameron popped the question on a stunning late winter day at Sapphire Point Overlook. Can you imagine? The snow-capped Rockies in the distance, the world blanketed in a serene white, and there, amidst this winter wonderland, a new chapter began for Meghan and Cameron. It’s the kind of proposal that deserves its own Hallmark movie!

Flash Forward one month later: a beautiful spring day, the air filled with love and laughter at their friends, Megan and Matt’s wedding at Woodlands. Amidst the festivities, we just happened to cross paths with Meghan and Cameron. Freshly engaged and radiating joy, they quickly approached us for our card. But this wasn’t just an exchange of contracts; it was the beginning of Meghan + Cameron’s journey with us to the altar.

It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do. The power of word-of-mouth is real, folks, and there’s nothing quite like connecting with future BGP couples at weddings. It’s like catching lightning in a bottle!

After getting to know Meghan and Cameron more over a Zoom Double Date, we knew we HAD to be there with them on the wedding day.  Any time we’re on a call and there’s laughter and excitement for a future, we know these are our people.

Cut to the engagement shoot in Northern Fort Collins. With rolling hills, babbling brooks, and our couple casually strolling like they’re in a perfume commercial. This place isn’t just photogenic; it’s a CSU alumni hotspot, which means it’s practically their old stomping ground, minus the textbooks and student loans.

This secret spot, nestled in the foothills, has quickly become one of our favorite backdrops for portraits. It’s not just the scenery that made this session special; it’s the connection Meghan and Cameron have with this place. Both are proud alumni of CSU, making these foothills more than just a pretty backdrop – they’re a part of their story.

And now, the countdown begins to the main event at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado. If you’re thinking of a picturesque fall wedding with a side of pumpkin spice, you’re on the right track. This place is like the Disneyland of wedding venues, minus the long lines and overpriced churros. We’re talking full-on autumnal bliss – the kind that makes you want to wrap up in a blanket and start carving pumpkins.
