Vibrant Garden Wedding at Brookside

Sometimes you find yourself surrounded by people who just make everything relaxing and fun. That was our experience with Ashley and Zach at their vibrant garden wedding at Brookside in Berthoud, Colorado. This precious couple and their joyful personalities were such a gift to us!

We kicked off the day at a gorgeous new Airbnb near TPC golf course. It was totally swoon-worthy, and such an upgrade from the typical Airbnb experience when it comes to getting-ready spaces.

Ashley, of course, was stunning in her ballgown by Dora Grace Bridal. Her bridesmaids were the perfect complement to her wedding day style. Not only were they beautiful as well, but they were just the most fun to be around! The ladies’ hair and makeup were on point, thanks to the talented Sydni with Swept Away Styling

I have to take a moment to gush about Amanda and Deb from Reale Events. We love every opportunity we get to work with them. It’s so important to create positive relationships with fellow vendors, and these two make it so easy!

They did a spectacular job with Ashley’s vibrant purple florals. Fall is always an exciting time to see what these talented ladies create, and this wedding was no exception. The colors blended so seamlessly with the bridesmaid dresses, and were the perfect complement to the theme.

We’re always obsessed with the bride’s bouquet, but I think it’s time to give some attention to the guys! The groom and groomsmen looked SO handsome in their suit coats with pocket boutonnieres. These are undeniably something that Reale Events excels at creating!

We love the pocket boutonniere option because it’s a unique twist on a traditional boutonniere. Essentially, it’s a brilliant pop of color inside the front pocket of a groom’s suit or tuxedo jacket. Instead of being pinned on the lapel, this petite flower arrangement is attached to a thick card that slides into the pocket. It’s certainly a stylish option, and truly brings attention to the floral design.

Reale Events even created the sweetest flower crowns for the flower girls to wear as they made their way down the aisle. I simply can’t say enough about these wonderful ladies. What an honor to know them and enjoy their stunning creations!

Brandon from Suit and Tie DJs kept the dance floor full with his excellent skills! Obviously, he’s simply amazing at what he does. The reception was such a fun celebration, and it’s always exciting to see guests relax and enjoy themselves on the dance floor.

Let’s talk about the cake. I have to be honest, I’m not much of a cake fan. But the lemon cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes? Let’s just say I could be persuaded. It tastes just like a Twinkie, and in my mind it’s probably healthier with less preservatives since it’s made by this fabulous company. Don’t tell me if I’m wrong.

We loved how Ashley and Zach incorporated traditional wedding elements into their day. For example, the mother of the bride created a sweet wedding traditions box. Inside was something old, new, borrowed, and blue. Each item in the box was either an heirloom from Ashley’s grandparents or a special find from her sweet mom. We love the simplicity of a tradition that has spanned generations.

Reliving this wedding day feels like a breath of fresh air! The entire event was just so heartwarming and relaxed, making it a memory we’ll always treasure. Congratulations Ashley and Zach!
