We can’t stop swooning over Amy and Kelsey’s romantic TPC Golf Course wedding in Berthoud, Colorado! The views were phenomenal, the weather was warm, and bluebird skies set the stage for a day to remember.
Colorado is known for year-round sunny weather, which is one of our favorite things about living in this gorgeous state! However, when the full sun is blazing, we have to get really creative with portraits. This is especially true when there’s limited trees and shade. Thankfully there was no shortage of options, and we were thrilled to capture so many heartfelt moments!
The bride and groom started the day by exchanging love notes. I can’t think of a better way for a couple to start their forever than by professing their heartfelt love and devotion!
As the morning unfolded, Kelsey and his groomsmen took full advantage of the golf simulator before indulging in a delicious lunch. Meanwhile, Amy and her bridesmaids started getting ready at a nearby Airbnb. Eventually, they relocated to the bridal suite, putting on the final touches to complete their perfect wedding day look.
In one of the sweetest moments we’ve seen, Kelsey also surprised Amy with a box of letters and cards she had given him throughout their relationship. Guys, he saved them ALL!! It was a complete surprise to the bride, and such a romantic gesture. Well done, Kelsey! 🙂
The couple’s love of family was evident throughout their ceremony. The groom’s sister eloquently officiated, and it was so beautiful to witness such a special moment. The flower girls each took turns reading scripture, while family members shared sweet words of wisdom with the bride and groom.
Reale Events created the most vibrant floral arrangements. Rich in color and bursting with elegance and rustic charm, they couldn’t have been more perfect for this lovely fall celebration.
Additionally, Eddie from Suit and Tie DJs was simply amazing and kept the dance floor full of laughter and fun! The bride and groom entertained their guests with a sing-off to the song “Don’t Stop Believin’!” As an added bonus, we were all treated to incredible guest performances of “Bohemian Rhapsody!”
The food was extraordinary, as always! I’m pretty sure TPC has one of the best chefs in the country, hands down. He truly pours his heart and soul into everything he prepares. Obviously, guests were overjoyed with their plated meal, dessert spread, and late night snacks.
The bride’s father is currently overseas and was unable to attend the wedding. We all choked up when Amy shared a tender mother-daughter dance honoring their special relationship. Eventually, other mothers and daughters in the room joined them on the dance floor. Talk about a tear-jerker!
We were thrilled to get to work with such talented vendors throughout the day. The team from Leigh and Co did an outstanding job keeping the day organized and running smoothly.
When it comes to stunning sunsets, I don’t think there’s a better view than from TCP. With the warm glow over the mountains and the light hitting ponds and reservoirs just right, the views are nothing short of spectacular. Add in some rich fall colors and you’ve got a magazine-worthy spread right in front of your eyes!
Jeremy and I absolutely loved sharing this day with Amy and Kelsey! Our talented team member Chris also brought his exceptional drone flying skills and was such a great support for us. We’re beyond lucky to work with the most incredible team members. And getting to work with the most amazing couples is simply the cherry on top!
