We couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day for Sydney and Gabe’s fall wedding at Sweet Heart Winery. Not only is it one of our favorite wedding venues, autumn is one of the best seasons to enjoy the ambiance at Sweet Heart. The trees are bursting with yellow and red, creating a warmth that envelops you like a cozy blanket.
The bride and groom each got ready offsite at local Airbnbs. I was able to swing by to say a quick hi and pick up their wedding details on my way to the venue.
Sweet Memories
Sydney and her girls sported elegant matching robes with a romantic vintage flair. In fact, they totally reminded me of my grandmother in the best possible way! Grandma had a very distinct robe and always wore it around her house. I was enamored with its elegant lace sleeves and the gorgeous shade of blue – exactly the same as the ones the wedding party wore. That sweet memory had me reminiscing all day.
The bride took time to write personalized notes to everyone involved in helping the wedding day come to life. Her bridesmaids went around and delivered the letters, along with a glass of champagne, to each person just before the ceremony began. It was the sweetest sentiment, and her heartfelt words had everyone in tears!
As Sydney and Gabe exchanged vows, I couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the stunning ceremony site. Romantic lanterns lined the path, and the triangular arch featured fall florals with deep, rich hues. The colors were simply stunning!
Patti also did a gorgeous job of transforming the reception into what can best be described as a replica of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! With sweeping fabrics, candles, and a romantic sweetheart table, it was the perfect setting for celebrating the newly married couple!
Sydney and Gabe exchanged gifts just after the ceremony. Gabe gifted his bride with a beautiful Pandora charm bracelet. As for the groom’s gift, it was a little something I had the privilege of helping Sydney put together.
Gifts to Remember
A few months before the wedding, she and I created a STUNNING gallery of bridal boudoir images for her soon-to-be husband. The images were featured in a specially designed album, ready to present to Gabe on the wedding day. Obviously, his jaw was on the floor!
Just before heading to their reception, the couple’s dog, Stella, made a brief appearance! We had to get her in on some family photos with “mom and dad” of course! And to put her stamp of approval on the marriage license. We first met this sweet girl when she was a tiny puppy at their Sweet Heart engagement session. It was so fun to have Stella join us again!
The reception was a full blown party, and Howe Eventful brought their A game to the dance floor! With two parts DJ and professional saxophonist, it was quite the entertainment experience.
The family-style catering was such a great way for guests to feel a sense of community and love as gorgeous dishes of fish, beef, and veggies were passed around. The dessert table featured bites of cupcakes, cookie dough, and chocolates dusted in gold and accented with romantic flowers. It was almost too pretty to eat. (Almost) 🙂
We spent the evening just feeling so grateful for our time with Sydney and Gabe. Their romantic sparkler exit was the perfect ending to such a heartwarming day. We just love this couple, and are so excited for their future together as husband and wife!
