Carlyann + Mason’s Wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines

When two brilliant pilots find love in the Air Force, their wedding is sure to be filled with tons of laughter, lavish details and the sophistication of a military ball… with koozies.

When Carlyann and Mason chose us to celebrate their engagement last year, we were thrilled when they decided to also have us join them for their wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines.

The getting ready suite at Cielo is truly divine and a perfect fit for any bride looking for a dreamy morning. Carlyann and her best friends made themselves at home in their cute satin robes and champagne filled TAL Wine Tumblers, while the team from Blush Dry Bar Salon pampered them with gorgeous hair and beautiful makeup.

The guys found themselves at home in the groom’s suite, complete with an entertainment center and a cooler of drinks.

Jeremy and I typically split up at the beginning of the wedding day, where he goes with the groom and I stick with the bride. So it’s always fun to see what the guys and gals were up to when we bring all our photos together. And may I add, this wedding party was one of the best to spend the day with.

As Carlyann stepped into her beautiful Morilee dress, everyone’s eyes began to fill as the reality of the day started to sink in. Before heading to the chapel, Carlyann and Mason privately exchanged personal letters to prepare their hearts for their incredible future’s together.

Carlyann made her way down the stairs, softly wiping away the tears, only to be met with more tears as she and her dad saw each other for the first time. It’s so important to make time to be with the ones that mean the most to you and remember it’s a big day for them too.

Mason and the wedding party lined up and began making their way down the aisle of St Francis of Assisi. This stunning church was such an important part of Carlyann’s dream wedding, and as the doors opened for her entrance, you could feel the emotion she’d been picturing in that moment.

Jumping in the limo, the wedding party and I went on an adventure to take portraits at Daniel’s Park. The only challenge we faced was finding somewhere to park a giant limo by the trail. So after an entertaining 7 point turn to get turned around, the party made it. The views were absolutely stunning and worth the journey offsite.

Incredible food was served up by the team at Rocky Mountain Catering, while guests enjoyed cocktails in their custom drink koozies.

Some of my favorite parts of the reception were the heartfelt toasts shared by friends and family, followed by the gift of a traditional hula performed by one of the bridesmaids to honor the bride. The friendship and love these two are surrounded with is undeniable.

It was such an honor to be present at an event with so many service men and women and to celebrate this long awaited day for Carlyann and Mason. We have loved getting to know you both and wish you so much happiness.
