We were honored to spend the day with Gabrielle and Jared for the most beautiful winter wedding in Estes Park. This short but sweet wedding day in the Rocky Mountains kicked off our 2023 season, and we are HERE for it!
It was definitely a chilly day! With the perfect mix of sunshine, light snowfall, and flurries, it turned out to be everything the bride wanted for her winter wedding by the Big Thompson River. Love when that happens!
The first looks with both Gabrielle’s future husband and dad turned into a chilly tear fest! First looks are so very special. We always feel so honored to be able to capture the moment for our couples.
The bride was showstopping in her romantic gown from Emma and Grace Bridal Studio.
As the Father of the Bride prepared to “give her away,” he shared some thoughts on this tradition. He stated that he wasn’t truly giving his daughter away, but instead acknowledged she is a precious gift, given to them by God. And now, it was an incredible joy and honor to be giving her future husband this amazing gift.
I mean…can you even handle it!? Obviously, there was not a dry eye to be found!
Standing under a canopy of Aspen and pine trees, Jeremy had the honor of officiating the ceremony and shared the keys to a successful wedding. It was such a beautiful ceremony, with the site surrounded by the Big Thompson River and a gentle snow falling all around us.
The bride carried a unique, natural bouquet made of sola wood flowers. This is a gorgeous option for brides, and the best part is that she’ll be able to keep it forever!
Guests enjoyed a yummy baked potato and nacho bar provided by Cornerstone Cafe from Berthoud, CO.
When you choose to get married in Estes Park in March, it’s almost a guarantee that you’ll be surrounded by piles of beautiful snow! But having a soft snowfall during the bridal portraits might have just been the icing on the cake.
This family is so special to us, because we also had the honor of shooting Gabrielle’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago. We deeply treasure the relationships we build with families on the wedding day! It makes it even sweeter when we get to see them again and again for family portraits, maternity photos, and at future weddings! We really are in the business of building relationships, and we can’t think of a more incredible dream job!
Congratulations Gabrielle and Jared! We wish you all the best in your new life together!
