Fall weddings at Sweet Heart Winery are my absolute favorite. Surrounded by vibrant fall colors, Katie and Chris chose the perfect backdrop for their beautiful wedding day.

With the Big Thompson River wrapping around the outside of the property, the entire area is filled with lush trees. And once autumn rolls around, it’s a guarantee that those trees will be bursting with a rainbow of fall colors. Goodness, we love living in Colorado! 

FUN FACT: While Loveland is super close to the mountains, the fall colors don’t usually make their way down here until early to mid-October (unless, of course, we get a snowstorm before then). So while October’s weather is a bit unpredictable, it usually brings great temps and incredible fall foliage.

And since it is October, the Colorado weather got a little rebellious and we had to dance around some afternoon storms for Katie and Chris’ fall wedding. Thankfully the clouds cleared just in time for the outdoor ceremony, surrounded by – you guessed it – all those vibrant trees! 

If you’re looking to make an unforgettable entrance, Sweet Heart Winery is just the place! With one of the longest aisles you’ve ever seen, you can take all the time you need to really soak in this incredible moment. Katie’s dress was stunning and her adorable cowboy boots were simply perfection! It was so much fun watching her make her grand entrance.

The bride’s bouquet by Reale Events was an absolute stunner, and the fall decor added the perfect touch. The warm fall florals floating in water next to soft candlelight and colorful pumpkins made for some seriously eye-catching centerpieces. 

I’m still a little giddy thinking about their yummy charcuterie table by Gourmet Grub Kitchen, perfect for grazing during cocktail hour. And that homemade hummus! Oh, my. 

Drones were a HUGE part of the day because the groom and a few of his friends have their own drone-flying business! Jeremy is always a fan favorite because he flies drones at weddings, and honestly, it probably doesn’t get much cooler than that. 

But he had a little extra help capturing some pretty unique footage of the wedding day as the guys spent a lot of time “droning.” I’m sure there’s a more accurate term for what they do, but I just take pictures, so…

The incredibly talented Robin Hood of Howe Eventful made sure the dance floor stayed FULL! We seriously love getting to work weddings with this team. Not only are they some of the nicest guys in the biz, but their communication with the vendors throughout the entire process is absolutely top notch. They truly aim to serve couples well, and they always hit the mark!
