We spent a gorgeous afternoon near Estes Park with Emily and Tyler at the Big Thompson River, one of our favorite locations! It was so much fun taking in the mountain views and enjoying some incredible weather. With so much moisture this year, the area was vibrant and lush which always provides a fantastic backdrop for photos! 

Getting to know Emily and Tyler was so easy, because they are just so much fun to be around. One thing that stood out to me about this couple was how incredibly smitten they are with each other. They just couldn’t help laughing and falling into each other’s arms every time they looked at each other! 

Their romance began years ago as high school sweethearts. Dating long distance all through college, they’ve undoubtedly experienced a lot of milestones together already. Their journey has made their relationship so very special. 

Emily and Tyler’s engagement story is so sweet! They share a love of hiking, and Spruce Mountain is one of their favorite spots. One beautiful August evening, the two of them went on a sunset hike. Tyler previously arranged for photographers to follow them along the way. 

Upon reaching the summit, Tyler surprised Emily with a breathtaking proposal, all beautifully captured by the photographers. Talk about a mountaintop moment! 

After about thirty minutes, their families joined them, taking Emily completely by surprise! Can you imagine the range of emotions!? They all headed back to her family’s home to celebrate with a steak dinner and some champagne. The entire evening was nothing short of magical. 

Tyler loves a lot of things about Emily. But specifically, he adores how much she cares for him. “She shows patience and loves me for who I am. She’s always willing to go on adventures with me!”

Emily said, “I love how selfless Tyler is and how well he knows me. He always prioritizes me and makes time for me. He is so smart and creative.” 

We are so looking forward to celebrating with this sweet couple on their wedding day! They’re getting married at Spruce Mountain Ranch, which is a perfect way to honor their Spruce Mountain engagement. We can’t wait for that incredible day!
