Get ready to be stunned by the most dreamy mountain lake engagement session at Carter Lake! Taylor and Nick couldn’t have chosen a better setting for their romantic photo shoot. We soaked in every minute, giddy with excitement over what the next few days have in store for these two!

The story of Taylor and Nick’s engagement is so beautiful, and we just have to share it with you. The whole thing went down in Breckenridge, Colorado, which is just about one of the most gorgeous places on the planet.

Nick and Taylor were in town visiting her grandparents. One evening they went to dinner for a sweet mountain-town date night. Because it was so cold, they weren’t able to spend much time walking around all the shops lining the downtown area.

Once they made it back to the hotel, Nick pulled off a surprise proposal that took Taylor’s breath away. They had already picked out her ring together, so she was totally confused in the absolute best way!

Taylor asked Nick what he was doing with her ring, and as soon as the words left her mouth, she realized what was happening. Nick popped the question then and there, and of course she said yes! It was just the cutest night and they hold the memory so close to their hearts.

Love rooted in faith is one of our favorite things about this couple. We can’t think of a more beautiful foundation to build a life on. Here’s a little glimpse into their hearts:

Nick said, “I love that (Taylor) loves the Lord. She has a great relationship with her family and friends. She is such a kind, smart, and selfless person.”

Taylor shared that she “loves (Nick’s) sense of humor, kind and generous heart, strong integrity, and his love for life!”
