After a beautiful engagement session in the Rocky Mountains, it was only fitting to celebrate Lucy and Sam’s outdoor wedding at Stove Prairie Ranch! With stunning panoramic views, surrounded by 300 acres of lush, green meadows, this summer wedding was a show stopper! The amount of thoughtful detail the couple put into their wedding day made the whole thing a spectacular success! 

Located just outside of Bellvue, Colorado, Stove Prairie Ranch pulled out all the stops. There are no words to describe the attention to detail and careful planning that ensured a celebration none of us will forget! 

Not only was Lori from Stove Prairie incredible to work with, she went above and beyond to meet everyone’s needs. This included helping us get a little gas for our car on the way home when we realized there were no gas stations nearby. Now that’s customer service! 

The venue came complete with a charming cottage for the bride to relax and get ready for her big day. Not to be outdone, the groom’s quarters featured a pool table and darts, which is really the best way to create a whole lot of fun while you’re wearing formal attire and waiting for a wedding to begin! 

The bride’s dress was absolutely stunning. Not only does Anthropologie carry beautiful clothing and amazing accessories, but they also have an entire line of wedding apparel. I had no idea! Lucy’s gown was designed by BHLDN, a sister brand to Anthropologie. 

It was just pure joy to be around the incredible team from Beauty with Meranda. They took such good care of the bridal party and kept us on schedule.

As we got closer to the start of the ceremony, it was so much fun to watch as the NoCo Party Bus transported guests, making sure they arrived safely! This was an amazing option provided for friends and family to help them avoid the sometimes-precarious drive through the canyon in order to get to the venue. So very thoughtful! 

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with warm welcomes and plenty of cocktails and snacks. Yes, please! 

The ceremony took place tucked into the trees overlooking the mountains, which made it a bit of a challenge to navigate. Guests continued to receive the royal treatment as they piled into a rustic wagon to transport them from the reception site over the hill to the ceremony.

The entire event was stunning, especially with all the beautiful florals from Palmer Flowers. The ceremony was straight out of a fairy tale!

It was so beautiful to watch these two adventure-loving people start the adventure of a lifetime together! As soon as they were introduced as husband and wife, the festivities continued with one of the most incredible parties we’ve ever been a part of!

The catering, provided by Simply Pizza Truck, was the absolute highlight of the evening! I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that this impressive gourmet experience made us feel like we were walking right up to a bistro in the city. So very classy and unique. 

They kept the appetizers flowing, and provided the guests with a full menu of yummy pizza options from their wood fire oven right on the truck! This rock star team knocked out an amazing custom experience. Five stars all around! 

With a stunning view of the mountains in the background, the couple’s guests enjoyed yard games on the patio during cocktail hour. With a Twist Bartending Service was super fun to work with! They interacted beautifully with the guests, and were so engaging. This is because that’s exactly what they do: They’re actual bar tenders, not just drink pourers! They danced behind the bar, keeping up the energy all night long.

Jeremy and I love working with DJ Drake! He will always and forever be our first choice when it comes to recommending a DJ. He is an amazing, engaging emcee who mixes music like no other. He knows exactly how to read a room, which makes the entire experience a complete blast from start to finish. 

And best of all, he’s just one of the nicest guys around. It’s obvious that he loves what he does and has such a gift for entertaining.

I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever been able to say this about a wedding, but an  adorable group of llamas most definitely stole the show! The llamas on site were a huge hit with the guests, and it just made for one more memory we’ll never forget! 

The attention to detail just made this wedding incredibly unique! We loved seeing all the thought that was put into each and every moment, which allowed guests to truly feel like they could be present and relax. This was such a special wedding, and we just love Lucy and Sam! We wish you both the very best!
