What happens when a traveling sonographer from Oklahoma, finds the love of her life on a dating app in Tallahassee? They build a life together.
Brooke and Zach celebrated their wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family at Pinecrest in Palmer Lake, Colorado.
It was a rustic and romantic wedding, with farmhouse details and stunning florals by Stacey’s Bloomers. The day started out, with the couple getting ready in their own private suites at the venue. With white washed walls and glamorous getting-ready stations, this bridal party was getting ready in style with the help of Blush Dry Bar Salon.
Every detail of the newly updated venue was a WOW. Which is a huge relief considering, Zach and Brooke fell in love and booked their venue, sight unseen, planning every detail of their Colorado destination wedding from Tallahassee.
The team at Pinecrest was next to none. Full of joy and excitement to serve the couple and their guests, they were incredibly welcoming and very organized. It was a highlight of our night getting to work alongside such a wonderful team of vendors.
The shabby chic farmhouse style chapel was a welcomed change from the darker barns we’ve often seen for weddings. With bright light pouring in from the windows, the ceremony was elegant and comfortable.
Brooke and Zach exchanged heart warming vows, with dashes of humor and promises special to the couple.
However, I will say that when a groom speaks up during the ceremony unplanned, it’s something to make a brides stomach drop …
So when Zach interrupted his vows with, “Brooke doesn’t know this, but…” we were on pins and needles, waiting to hear what he was going to say.
Fortunately, it was the best possible surprise, because Zach had been secretly learning Chickasaw to share a part of his vows in. Tears fell down the cheeks of her family and Brooke’s smile couldn’t have been bigger as she heard his sweet words.
One of the hardest part of planning a wedding is all of the details. What can make it 10 times more challenging, is when you are doing it from a distance. Brooke and Zach planned every detail of their Colorado destination wedding from Tallahassee.
And when you’re planning a destination wedding, there’s always going to be part of you that wishes you were getting married in a place you feel connected. One way couples will do this, is by incorporating things that they love back home.
One thing these two love deeply is their amazing property and farm in Florida. So it was so fun to see that Zach’s wedding band is actually a custom ring made from the pecan tree in their yard. This and so many other personalized details made everything feel like the couple had a little taste of home.
The Photo Booth was also a huge hit for guests, with loads of props, but the most popular we’re the photo’s of Brooke and Zach’s animals back home.
And as the night came to a close, these two shared a private last dance as their guests lined up outside for a grand sparkler exit.
It was an unforgettable night and one we won’t soon forget. Again, I wish Florida wasn’t so far away, cause we just think the world of these two. Wishing you both the very best. Give all your goats a squeeze from us! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Wolfberg!
