Clare + Nate Camp St Malo Ceremony and TPC Reception

A fairytale came true, as Clare and Nate became husband and wife in a beautiful mountain top ceremony in Allenspark, Colorado.

With castle on a hill vibes, how could you not feel swept away at Camp St. Malo? The chapel was built in 1935, also known as “Chapel on the Rock,” surrounded by mountain views, including a stunning view of Mt. Meeker in the distance.

When we arrived at the chapel, we couldn’t wait to finally meet our bride and groom in person. It had been our own version of a “long-distance” relationship, as Clare and Nate planned their destination wedding here in Colorado, all the way from Texas. So after a zoom call and lots of emails back and forth, we finally got to share our love for this beautiful state with them live and in person.

After some laughs and getting locked in the bridal suite, (a funny story for another day), Clare began getting ready with her family. Clare’s dress from Bliss Bridal was truly MADE for her. As she looked back at herself in the mirror, we all stood in awe of her head to toe perfection.

Waving goodbye to the family, Clare first made her way to see her dad for a teary first look outside, then headed to an emotional first look with her future husband, Nate. It was all the feels, when Nate finally got to see his best friend standing there behind him. And with a nice long embrace, the nerves and excitement of the day found beautiful balance. Clare and Nate were beaming ear to ear the rest of the day. Infact I’m not sure I ever saw the smile leave their face.

The ceremony took place inside St. Catherine’s Chapel, with tall stained glass windows and incredible stone walls. It felt like a storybook wedding you’d see in a movie from beginning to end.

Following the emotional and traditional nuptial mass, the couple made their way down the mountain to TPC Colorado; Berthoud’s newest PGA Golf Course.

Jeremy and I were thrilled to be capturing this incredible couple at the newest Colorado venue. The views are next to none and we’ve been such a big fan of the Clubhouse menu we couldn’t wait to see what they had in store. It also helps that TPC is only 5 minutes from our house.

As we arrived at the venue, cocktail hour began on the patio and lawn. And we took in the warm, dreamy sunset with some gorgeous portrait time with the bride and groom.

After everyone’s jaws were picked up off the floor from the views and amazing weather, guests made their way into the stunning Longs Peak Ballroom. With floor to ceiling windows, the panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains wrapped around the elegant tablescapes.

Each table showcased elegant centerpieces of bird cages and tall glowing vases filled with water and blossoms by the incomparable team at Reale Events.

The team from Spark Events had great tunes rolling and kept the event well organized all night long. I can honestly say that I never saw the dance floor empty and witnessed some of the most impressive dance moves and energy I’ve ever seen at a wedding.

A yummy display of cupcakes and of course a gorgeous tiered cake were provided by The Cupcake Gypsies, which Clare and Nate gently smashed in each other’s faces as one would expect.

And as the night came to an end, the couple found their way out of the event down a grand staircase outside, through a gorgeous tunnel of sparklers. I swear if Clare didn’t have on sparkly converse, she may have had a Cinderella moment on those epic stairs.

We were so thrilled to be a part of such a special day and to meet this wonderful couple. Clare and Nate, we said it once and we’ll say it again, we hope that you will one day make Colorado your home.
