Attending a wedding at Brookside Weddings and Events is like stepping into a floral paradise! Taylor and Nick’s gorgeous ceremony was no exception. With its lush landscaping and twisting vines, the ceremony site was straight out of an English garden. Despite the initial threat of thunderstorms, this incredible day turned out to be nothing short of a fairy tale! 

Yes, friends, there were thunderstorms in the forecast here in northern Colorado, once again!  Because it’s been such a rainy summer, we knew exactly how to improvise. Most of our pre-ceremony time was spent inside, and we still tackled everything on our list! From the sweetest daddy-daughter first look, to the romantic first look between the bride and groom, we captured every precious moment.

Enchanting Moments

Taylor’s Snow White-inspired wedding gown from The Bridal Collection left her entire bridal party in tears during the reveal! It was the sweetest moment between these lovely ladies, and really showcased the special connection between them. In fact, the entire wedding party was an absolute delight, and just a blast to be around all day! 

The ceremony was every bit as magical as we imagined it would be. Taylor made her grand entrance by exiting the bridal suite and practically floating down the staircase to meet her groom. The entire scene was a total showstopper! 

Although we are accustomed to being flexible when it comes to the weather, we did have to tweak the wedding-day timeline. We shifted portrait time until after the ceremony, and really hustled to capture all those beautiful images! 

Thankfully, the weather didn’t completely play out as predicted. With just a few sprinkles to keep the temperature cool, we moved outside and were able to find great locations around the property to take some additional portraits. 

Let’s Celebrate!

The reception was so lively and full of celebration! The always amazing Eddie from Suit and Tie DJs was a fantastic emcee. It was so sweet to watch him take a young guest under his wing and show him the DJ ropes…a future emcee in the making! 

Taylor’s bouquet toss was definitely a highlight of the evening! She completely surprised the girls as her bouquet exploded into multiple tiny bouquets for them! Such a fun and thoughtful addition to the moment.

We can’t pass up the opportunity to talk about the dancing. We all watched with beaming smiles as the bride and groom danced along with their parents at the same time! The whole scene left us completely captivated. The significance of this experience was not lost on us. As they danced under the twinkle lights and golden glow of chandeliers, we knew we were witnessing a memory that these families will hold in their hearts for a lifetime. 

Watching Taylor admire the love her parents have for each other left me choking back tears! She told them how much she wanted a marriage like theirs. I had to dry it up quickly so I could see through my camera lens long enough to capture the moment. 

We have to give a shout-out to Madison at Brookside for being an absolute rock star, keeping the day organized and running smoothly. The team at Reale Events did a stellar job, as always! Huge props also go to Origins for providing an amazing taco bar, which is the absolute quickest way to our hearts. From the photobooth to the voice-recorded guest book, it was a party we won’t soon forget! 

We’re so humbled by the opportunity to be part of such a special, meaningful day. Taylor and Nick are so amazing, and it was beautiful to witness their family and friends celebrate alongside them. We wish them so much love, joy, and laughter as they begin their new life together!
