Jess and Jeremy’s love story is the kind of tale that feels like it belongs in a rom-com—complete with a matchmaking twin brother, a scavenger hunt proposal, and all the heartwarming moments in between. We would easily do this engagement photoshoot over and over again at Chautauqua in Boulder. These two are such a joy to be around, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their January wedding at Pinecrest in Palmer Lake, Colorado!

Let’s rewind to where it all began. Jess and Jeremy owe their first meeting to her twin brother, John. The two guys were groomsmen in a friend’s wedding, and after a night of bachelor party shenanigans, they swung by Jess’s house. Jess and Jeremy exchanged a quick hello, but apparently, that was enough for John to sense some serious potential. 

Now, John isn’t in the habit of playing matchmaker—especially for his twin sister—so when he told Jess she should get to know Jeremy, she took it seriously. A quick “sure, why not” turned into a phone call from Jeremy, who asked Jess out on their first date. That date? It felt like catching up with an old friend. No awkward small talk—just instant connection. And from there, it was game over. These two were clearly meant for each other.

Fast forward to their proposal, and Jeremy took things to a whole new level. Picture this: a scavenger hunt that took Jess through all their most memorable spots, filled with sweet clues that tugged at her heartstrings. The final stop? A spot overlooking the stunning Colorado Front Range, decked out with flowers, twinkling lights, and a vibe that screamed romance. There, Jeremy got down on one knee and asked Jess to be his forever. Spoiler alert: she said yes!

Hearing them talk about what they love most about each other is like getting a front-row seat to their love story. Jeremy lights up when he describes Jess. He adores her wit, her spunk, and her playful goofiness that keeps life fun. Her caring heart and love for the Lord inspire him daily, and her thoughtfulness and intentionality make him feel deeply valued. Oh, and did he mention that she’s absolutely beautiful? (He may have said it more than once.)

Jess’s favorite things about Jeremy are equally swoon-worthy. She describes him as one of the kindest men she’s ever met, with a heart for Jesus and people that shines through in everything he does. His selfless, intentional love makes her feel cherished, and his sense of humor keeps her laughing. Bantering with him is her favorite pastime—plus, she loves how his smile makes her feel truly known and adored. And yes, she also mentioned how much she loves looking at him. Who wouldn’t?

For their engagement session, we met up at Chautauqua in Boulder, Colorado. It was one of those days where everything just felt right. Jess’s smile lit up the entire session—it’s the kind of infectious joy that makes you smile without even realizing it. Jeremy, ever the steady and adoring partner, couldn’t take his eyes off her. Their chemistry was undeniable, and we spent the day capturing all the laughter, love, and pure fun they bring out in each other.
