So you know how much we adore a good love story, right? Allison and Justin’s Colorado ciderhouse wedding was the culmination of a love that knows no bounds. We felt such a bond with this amazing couple, and their entire wedding was simply a dream come true. 

Allison and Justin were married in March at a Florida park by the beach. The two exchanged vows in a private ceremony, attended only by their parents. 

They knew they also wanted to celebrate with everyone they love, so they planned an epic destination wedding here in Colorado! That’s where we come in! 

The night before the wedding, we attended their rehearsal dinner at the Birdhouse. So many of Allison and Justin’s loved ones came together from all over to have the opportunity to witness their union. Most of their guests traveled from out of state, and several were from Vermont. 

Jeremy’s family is from Vermont, so it has a special place in our heart. We had such a blast meeting guest after guest to gush over our mutual love for the area! We always love connecting with guests during events like this before the wedding, because it allows us to break the ice before the big day. Before the night was over, we felt like we had dozens of new friends! 

And we also had a new favorite restaurant! The Birdhouse is one of the cutest restaurants I’ve ever seen. The menu was packed with amazing dishes, including a build-your-own street taco bar. Hellloooo, beautiful! 

The libations deserve a shout-out of their own. Served in golden owl tiki-style glasses, they were definitely worth some attention! The entire vibe was just so much fun. As an added bonus, there happened to be a street concert happening, so we snuck Allison and Justin outside for some portraits and dancing. It was such a fun way to wrap up the evening.

Their big day began at the stunning Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield. The bride got ready with her closest friends in a breathtaking suite on the top level. Meanwhile, the groom enjoyed time with his friends and family hanging out and playing pool in the hotel bar.

The wedding ceremony took place at Acerage by Stem Ciders in Lafayette, one of the couple’s favorite date night spots. We’d never been there before, but the minute we saw it we were smitten! Their stunning lawn, entertainment for kids, and incredible mountain views sealed the deal. We will most certainly be back for date night, or even a fun family night with the kids!

The venue alone could easily be transformed into a wedding spot. But just beyond the lawn was a ceremony site nestled up on the hill and looking out over the Rocky Mountains. It was perfectly secluded from the rest of the venue, and the rustic charm of Acreage served as the perfect backdrop for Allison and Justin’s vow renewal.

Renewing their vows just reinforced the incredible bond they share. After all, these two have had quite an adventure as a couple! 

After meeting online during the pandemic, Allison and Justin fell in love in just the sweetest way. There were lots of video calls for dates, and most of their date nights involved ordering food for each other from their favorite restaurants and orchestrating a surprise delivery. Can you even stand it!?

They dated for six weeks on Zoom before beginning to meet in person. Fun fact: Their first dinner inside a restaurant was on their honeymoon! 

One of the many things we love about Allison and Justin is how generous and considerate they are. Their guests were greeted with a pre-ceremony cocktail hour as well as an additional cocktail hour following the ceremony.

The escort cards were so special. The seating chart wall was filled with cute postcards, each one printed with a guest’s name. The bride and groom took time to write each guest a personal note on the back of their card. It was clear that their guests were their number one priority. The thoughtfulness of this couple simply knows no bounds! 

We have to give a shout-out to Amy and her team from Cloud 9! They did an extraordinary job transforming the deck at Acreage into a romantic sunset reception. The muted, warm tones of the florals by Statice played beautifully with the candlelit tables. Just as everyone sat down to eat, the sky melted over the Rocky Mountains, painting one of the most spectacular sunsets you can imagine.

When a small rain storm made a brief stop, the team from Acreage did a tremendous job getting everything set up and moving things inside. And I can’t say enough about their incredible food spread! Guests also enjoyed an adorable pop-up ice cream cart from Little Man Ice Cream. 

The couple previously connected with a charming baker at the Erie Farmer’s Market (if you’re gonna make friends with someone, a baker is a smart choice!) They commissioned the baker to make custom cookies for all the guests in the same flavors of their wedding cake in Florida! In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, warm donuts (drool!) were served.

Allison and Justin spent a lot of time mingling with guests as this was the first time they’d had the opportunity to meet some of each other’s friends and family. As a beautiful finishing touch, the reception included custom cocktail napkins, each printed with a fun fact about their love story. It was just another way they showed their appreciation for their guests, and how happy they were to share their special day with them.

We absolutely loved this couple! They were so intentional, going above and beyond to make the occasion memorable for those they love. We would relive this wedding day time and time again, and we are so grateful to have met them. Cheers to a beautiful life together!
